Passengers traveling on the Laos–China Railway are allowed a maximum of 20 kg of carry-on baggage per adult and 10 kg per child. Please note that checked luggage services are not available, and all bags must pass through security screening at the station.

- Vapes and e-cigarettes (strictly prohibited and illegal)
- Liquids:
Liquids exceeding 100 ml are generally permitted; however, aerosol containers are often not allowed and may be confiscated during screening.
Travel Tips
- Arrive at the station at least 40–60 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time for security checks.
- Carry a valid photo ID or passport for verification.
- While families traveling with young children may receive some flexibility, it is strongly recommended to adhere to the stated baggage limits.
